In a normal offseason we’d all be preparing to watch and learn more about some this year’s top prospects at the NFL Scouting Combine, but this is anything but a normal offseason. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic just about all in person workouts have been shut down, including the Scouting Combine. That’s not great news as it relates to the evaluation process.
Without these tools scouts and draft analysts are going to have to rely heavily on film more than they probably have at any point in recent history. As such, we might not see as much change in how these players are ranked right now and on Draft Day in April. With that in mind, I thought I’d share with you my Top 10 players at each position.
Today, we will take a look at the wide receiver position.

Chase being better than the first Heisman WR since ‘91??
Ja’Marr Chase is still my No. 1 WR even though he opted out the 2020 season. It’s easy to forget just how good he was in 2019. But… I don’t think there’s much separation between him, Smith, or Waddle in regards to who is the top WR in the 2021 draft class.
The Cowboys should wait until day 3 to grab a wideout. What type of receiver should Dallas look for #4 or #5 on the depth chart? A big tall Noah Brown type if he isn’t brought back, a small speedy slot/return guy, or a outside burner to possibly replace Gallup after this year!
I like the kid out of Iowa… Ihmir Smith-Marsett. He’s projected to be a Day 3 pick, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes earlier.
