What did we learn, if anything?

I think when teams get into the fifth-round and beyond they are starting to look for certain traits to develop in players. That’s what Mike McCarthy’s former fifth-round draft picks look like to me anyway, especially on the offense. He’s hit on a few players, but overall there’s not much to be excited about. The one thing that did stand out to me is that he drafted a special teams player, a punter (JK Scott) this early. I don’t believe the Dallas Cowboys have ever spent a draft pick on a kicker, punter, or long snapper. They could probably use a new trio in 2020. Maybe that’s something to keep an eye on.
