The Dallas Cowboys have made all three of their fourth-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft at 112th, 114th, and 137th overall.
They started the day going with their first offensive player in the class, before adding their second DB, and finishing out with yet another defender on the defensive line.
Personally, I am firmly on board with the selections in this round, especially considering what they did on Days 1 and 2, and how they acquired 49ers linebacker Dee Winters for a 5th-round pick.
Let’s dig into these picks as we recap a big fourth round for America’s Team!
4th Round, 112th Overall: Drew Shelton, OT, Penn State
Brian Schottenheimer, OC Klayton Adams, and OL Coach Conor Riley had to wait all the way to 112th for the first pick on their side of the ball, but it came with former Nittany Lion, OT Drew Shelton.
He was not in my Top-150, but that came down to me not getting around to scouting him; guys that I trust have said lots of positive things about Shelton, who may compete with LT Tyler Guyton this summer.
Shelton allowed just one sack and 18 pressures in 2025 across 356 pass block snaps. Comes from a balanced run scheme. Will have immediately swing tackle versatility.
He has a ton of experience from his collegiate days, and did a damn good job in pass protection in 2025, especially.
At 6’5″, 313 lbs, with a near-83″ wingspan, he’s got the size as well to be in the mix on Day 1 for an NFL swing tackle role. Quality pick in the trenches here for Dallas.
4th Round, 114th Overall: Devin Moore, CB, Florida.
Here’s where the Cowboys really cooked up in the fourth round.
Devin Moore, a former Florida Gators’ cornerback, is a great fit both from a need and value perspective, even if he’s got some medical concerns. He was my 67th overall player in the class.
The perimeter corner missed a good bit of time during his collegiate career, and that’s what will make-or-break this pick when we look back on it in the future. The good news is, he’s never had a really major injury; more so, just a lot of little things that have added up in missed time.
If he can stay healthy all the way up to the season, it really wouldn’t shock me to see him starting out there in Week 1, alongside Caleb Downs in the nickel.
4th Round, 137th Overall: LT Overton, DL, Alabama
With their final pick until the seventh round (barring a trade-up), the Cowboys went back to the defensive line with LT Overton, from Alabama.
At 6’3″, roughly 280 lbs, Overton is going to see a positional debate over where he fits best, but that works well for what the Cowboys are trying to do from a versatility standpoint.
He’s got some room to go in terms of being NFL-ready, but the potential there, and I think that’s what Dallas wanted here, considering how long it’ll be until their next draft pick. High reward if he can turn his raw athletic ability into something tangible.
Whether we see him a lot on the field will depend on how he looks this summer.
Class Overview As It Nears Its End: Defense, Defense, Defense
To recap the class in full, Dallas went with Caleb Downs, safety, Ohio State, after trading up to 11, before turning to Malachi Lawrence, EDGE, Central Florida, with their second first-rounder after a trade-back from 20-to-23.
On Day 2, we saw them go with a versatile, aggressive defender in Michigan LB/EDGE Jaishawn Barham. Judging from what the organization has said, I expect him to start as an ILB who will move around to EDGE at times.
Today, it’s been Shelton, Moore, and Overton, as the team has once again focused on the trenches and secondary.
