The Dallas Cowboys are back on the road this week to take on the Chicago Bears, and once again, the injury report was nearly as clean as can be outside one starter.

You’ll see below the Cowboys and the Bears’ injury reports and I will tell you what, the Dallas Cowboys should not lose this football game.

Cooper Beebe is not on the report because he is on IR and we know he will be out for at least 6–8 weeks with his injury.

Dallas Cowboys

Out:

  • CB DaRon Bland (Foot)

Bland, who missed all week of practice for the second straight week, injured his foot in Monday’s practice last week, according to Todd Archer.

The injury is unrelated to the stress fracture in Bland’s left foot that required surgery last season and cost him 10 games.

Bland played all 63 snaps in the season opener against the Eagles, made three tackles, but will now miss his second game in a row after his big payday.

As you can see though, Trevon Diggs, who was sick much of the week, is off the report and ready to go. Turpin is also off after his neck injury last week, so two good signed for the Cowboys, but man, if they don’t hang 40 on this Bears defense it will be an issue.

Now this is the ugly part. Take a look at the Bears’ injury report, and if the Cowboys don’t put up 40 points with their offense, we have a serious issue.

Chicago Bears

Out:

  • OL Kiran Amegadjie (Elbow)
  • LB T.J Edwards (Hamstring)
  • CB Kyler Gordon (Hamstring)
  • DB Jaylon Johnson (Groin)
  • DB Jaylon Jones (Hamstring)

Questionable:

  • D’Andre Swift (Quad)

The Bears have their top two corners missing in action, the passing attack for Dallas should be on full display, and they should have no issues at all throwing the ball all over the yards on the Chicago secondary.

They are also going to be without their solid linebacker, T.J Edwards, so no excuses for the Cowboys not to be able to do whatever they want on offense. It will come down to their own defense, because both of them are awful.

We will see if Swift plays for the Bears on offense, but if he isn’t even as bad as they have been, this could be a get-right game for Ben Johnson and the Chicago offense, just like it was for Russ and the Giants.
