Cowboys Statement
The Cowboys released a statement Monday afternoon on Allen’s death, you can see the tweet below.
When it came to strength, Allen was in a class of his own once bench pressing 700 pounds.
I am only 28, so Allen was a bit before my time, but I still loved the game of football, I was just a kid when he was in his prime. Yet, when you talk Cowboys football, Allen is one of the players you always mention when talking about the best.
He was an absolute stud. Everyone playing on the offensive line should want to be as great as he was.
Tyler Smith has gotten some early praise from those who have been around him and around Allen. They said they remind them of an early Larry Allen.
One of the greatest to ever do it. Thoughts and prayers to the Allen family and others that were close to Larry.
